How do you sum up a group of individuals, each one different from the next? By their age? Story? Personality? Even harder when it comes to your own!
We are dedicated to producing quality wines that are true and honest. We are eager to make wines that are part of the A.O.C in order to represent our region and also those that are Vin de France, allowing us to work with other grape varieties. And, above all, wines that are “natural”, as that’s how we like them!

IDA

Ida is a tribute to the exceptional woman who was Sebastian’s grandmother.

This wine is a white wine vinified like a red wine, also known as an orange wine, and is called “de maceration”. With its beautiful golden colour, it expresses a rich and expressive aroma of candied fruits, ginger and citrus fruits. On the palate, the tannic presence is discreet, the structure is silky and the volume wonderfully balanced by the mineral tension of the limestone.

Poil de Lièvre

A perfect balance between freshness and generosity.

The aromatic frankness unfolds generously on notes of flowers of the meadows, apple, pear and almond, the mouth is round and stretched by a beautiful minerality.

Ideal as an aperitif, on grilled fish, shellfish, goat cheeses.

Du Rififi a Beaulieu

Naturally Sparkling, VDF

A delicious white “pet’nat” from a blend of chardonnay and chenin. Du Rififi a Beaulieu delights the tastebuds with its fine and creamy bubbles.

The earlier-maturing chardonnay is picked first, starts fermentation and is later joined by the chenin.

When the time comes (reaching the right sugar levels for fermentation), we seal the must in the bottles and leave the yeast to naturally finish eating the sugar. After a short time on the lees, we disgorge to get rid of the sediment. And then Du Rififi is born!

A dry, taut and aromatic pet’nat, just the way we like them.

PIAK !

Piak! When the mouth is too dry, it sounds like”Piak!”. A kind of relief for the thirsty! This quaffable wine is the most recent addition to the family.

Piak is a blend of the most basic grapes from the domaine. After a short maceration (carbonic and /or pelicular) and three months aging in vats, comes a “primeur” cabernet franc: light with a juicy structure and expressive aromas of bright red fruits. The perfect thirst-quencher!

Les Landes

This exceptional wine was born in 2014. It comes from a plot of red clay and flint which gives the grapes a strong identity.

Here we use a little more extraction during the maceration, whilst ensuring a gentle touch to preserve the velvety, fine tannins. The juice is subsequently aged for 18 months in barrels.

This is a silky, dense, complex and very giving wine.

Les îles

Our easy-drinking range of wines.

  • Le Saumur Blanc, from a young vineyard of chenin on clay and limestone is aged for five months in a vat during which time its straight and direct aroma develops white fruit and floral notes.
  • Le Cabernet de Saumur (rose) is, as its appellation states, a rosé of Cabernet Franc. Dry and fruity, it is the perfect wine for aperitifs and parties, seriously vinous with length on the palate.
  • Le Vin de France Rouge is the first cuvée from our new plot of Grolleau Noir. After a ten day carbonic maceration, it is aged in a vat for six months. It’s a light and taut red with notes of spices and berries. A juicy, crunchy red.

Les gruches

Aromatic and taut, Les Gruches is a fine cuvée of Chenin Blanc grown on limestone.

From two plots of Chenin, including one aged over 80 years with very low yield, les Gruches is a dense and expressive white Saumur that expresses his terroir with generosity.

Depending on the vintage, the aging can last from 6 to 24 months. When drank young, it’s bright and crisp, softening and filling out with age.
Drink with fish, shellfish and crustaceans, as an aperitif or with cheese from the Loire.

Ruben

Ruben was first made in 2011 after the domaine acquired some new vineyards. It’s the first wine Emeline and Sebastien made together. Ruben is aged for 7 months in barrels; it’s delicately structured, deep and has plenty of freshness.

A juicy, fruity Cabernet Franc with velvety tannins that tempt you to pour another glass! Ruben is a kind of chameleon, accompanying a wide array of dishes, from aperitif to pudding, fish to meat.

Hanami

Supple and delicious, Hanami was born in 2012 from the desire to make an aromatic early wine. From a blend of different plots of Cabernet Franc, the wine is fruity with an elegant and smooth texture and lively aromas.

The vinification is always a mix of pellicular and carbonic macération, so that we can keep the freshness and fluidity.

A wine to drink as an aperitif, for snacking, barbecues, platters of meats or rustic meals. Direct and tasty, a proper wine for gatherings!

Amateüs Bobi

Sebastien’s first cuvée, Amateus Bobi is the ‘historical’ wine of the domaine, its signature being its fine balance between structure and minerality.

Originally from a 65-year-old single parcel of clay and limestone called Bois Blanc, the wine has been enriched over the years with additions from some of the finest plots that have become part of the domaine.

Grapes are destemmed, macerated for 4 to 5 weeks with regular cap punching and pumping over to allow a soft extraction. The wine is then aged in barrels for a year, without being marked by woody flavours.

This is a structured wine with smooth and delicate tannins and a lively nose displaying real complexity. So mineral, it can’t deny its terroir! A true food wine, matching fine and complex dishes.

Greta Carbo

The name is a giveaway of the mode of vinification! “Greta”, as we know her, is the result of the collaboration between Sebastien and Ponpon. Made using a pure carbonic maceration, this is another single parcel cuvée.

The Cabernet Franc grapes come from the tiny plot Hardouine where the millerandage-prone fruit (where the berries on the same bunch vary in size and maturity) is subtly different to the other cabernets of the domaine.

Here, carbonic maceration gives the wine a singular identity; its silky texture holding a flavour all its own. Vegetal, fruity and peppery, it has a delicate and magical depth on the palate. The perfect wine to linger over: everyone has their own interpretation.

Échalier

L’Echalier is a single plot of the domaine’s oldest vines of Cabernet Franc. The grapes give a unique flavour marked by a beautiful concentration.

This wine is only made on the best vintages, otherwise, grapes are blended as part of Amateus Bobi.

Echalier is aged for over a year in wooden barrels, after a traditional maceration. This wine has deep complexity: its structure is dense and velvety, taut and textural. On the palate aromas are well-balanced between ripe fruits, earth and spices. The low yields of the plot make this wine somewhat exclusive – Echalier is much sought after!
